Privacy Policy
This page explains what Sahi Rasta collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you create a student account we collect your name, email address and mobile number. If you choose to complete your profile, we also store your date of birth, gender, state and district so we can show relevant colleges and course suggestions. Learning activity such as lessons completed, quiz scores, XP and certificates is stored against your account.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to create and secure your account, save your learning progress, issue certificates, respond to your messages, and personalise course and career recommendations. We may email you about your account, purchases and important service updates.
3. Payments
Course and level payments are processed by our payment partner. Sahi Rasta does not store your card, UPI or bank details. We only keep a record of the order, its status and what it unlocked for your account.
4. AI features
Ask Arkam, AI speaking practice and career matching send the text or audio you submit to our AI providers so a response can be generated. Do not share sensitive personal information in these chats. Conversations are used to provide the feature, not to sell advertising.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in when you choose "remember me", to remember your language preference, and to measure basic usage so we can improve the platform.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that host our platform, process payments, deliver email and power AI features, and only to the extent needed to run the service, or where the law requires it.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by writing to learn@sahirasta.org, and we will remove it unless we are required to keep certain records.
8. Your rights
You can view and update most of your details from your profile page. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion, by contacting us.
9. Children
Learners under 18 should use Sahi Rasta with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
